Cubic stone usually refers to a stone that has a cubic or cuboid shape. It means that the stone has three pairs of equal sides and right angles at each corner. Cubic Stone

Installation Instructions

Cubic stone, a traditional paving material used worldwide, has a long history in the streets and sidewalks of ancient cities. It is increasingly popular as an alternative to concrete and asphalt pavements. Cubic stone is versatile, suitable for landscaping parks and gardens, villas, fountains, water channels, speed bumps, and wall cladding, adding a unique beauty to these places.

Advantages of Cubic Paving Stones

  • High durability and resistance: Excellent resistance to friction, weather changes, sudden pressures, and chemical agents.
  • Variety: Different available designs and patterns.
  • Minimal sub-base preparation: No need for costly equipment.
  • Easy and quick repair, maintenance, and removal: Can be re-installed without needing new materials.
  • Suitable for all surfaces: Adds aesthetic diversity to the environment.
  • Rapid surface water drainage: Prevents surface slipperiness.
  • Natural rough surface: Prevents slipperiness under any conditions.
  • Easy and quick installation: Can be installed even without cement.
  • Affordable: Reasonably priced cubic stones.
  • Unlimited durability and recyclability: Suitable for re-installation.
  • Endless longevity: Adaptable to any weather conditions based on the designed plan.

Installation Methods for Cubic Paving Stones

Dry Installation Method

This method does not use cement-sand mortar, reducing costs and speeding up execution. Without grouting and slurry, surface water penetrates the underlying layer and is directed outward through peripheral drainage, ensuring a water-free, non-slip surface. Restoration is simple; if excavation is needed, the area can be collected and reinstalled without new materials.

Cement-Sand Mortar Method

This method involves the usual sub-base preparation for pavements, followed by installation with a cement-sand mortar and grouting.

FAQ

  1. Should I use granite cubic stones or travertine/marble cubic stones?
    • Most customers prefer granite. Travertine or marble cubic stones may become slippery after a few years of use in areas with heavy traffic.
  2. What thickness of cubic stone should I use?
    • For vehicle traffic areas, a thickness of 10 cm is recommended. The cost of 10 cm cubic stones is almost double that of 5 cm stones. For garden and villa projects, 5 cm or 3 cm thicknesses are usually used.
  3. How are stones loaded and unloaded?
    • For domestic deliveries, stones are usually loaded by a loader and unloaded by a dump truck. If cubic stones are packaged per the customer’s request, they are loaded and unloaded using a crane or forklift.
  4. What are the steps to purchase cubic paving stones?
    • Contact the sales expert at MGT Stone Co.
    • Issue of proforma invoice.

Split face stone tile is a textured and uneven type of tile created by cutting or splitting a larger stone. It is often used for wall cladding, both indoors and outdoors, as well as for accent walls and fireplaces. The natural and rustic appearance of the split face texture makes it a favored choice for adding visual interest and texture to any space. These tiles are typically crafted from natural stones like slate, travertine, or quartzite.

Tumbled Travertine Tile

Tumbled travertine tile is cherished for its rustic and authentic look, characterized by pitted holes and troughs on its surface. Often, these imperfections are deliberately left unfilled to accentuate the stone's natural charm. Due to their textured surface, these tiles are ideal for areas needing slip resistance, like bathroom floors, garden pathways, and around pools. Additionally, they bring a warm, traditional appeal to both indoor and outdoor environments.
